Function
In this series of pumps, motor is close coupled to the pump and submerge into the well/tank. These types of pumps sit in the bottom of a septic tank from where the fluid needs to be drained. These pumps are capable of being submerged and will likely have to deal with some fluids at all times. In order to empty as much of the liquid and solids as possible out of the basin, the intake of the pump is located as close to the floor of the tank as possible. However, in order to avoid dry running of the pump, a float switch is installed in the tank along with the pump.

Application
GSS-D series
These pumps are used for water circulation, gardening,ro-ckery, handling sewage, waste water, flood or rain water, liquid containing small solid particles, fibrous material, pulp, cellulose and industrial effluence. These pumps are also used in municipal and industrial waste water transport, sewage treatment plants, paper & board mills, chemical & sugar industries etc.

These pumps are used for handling sewage, waste water andsludge of different types, flood or rain water, viscous liquid, liquid containing solid particles, fibrous material slurry, pulp, cellulose and industrial effluence. These pumps are also used in municipal and industrial waste water transport, sewage treatment plants, paper & board mills, chemical & sugar industries etc.
