Function
In this series of pumps, motor is close coupled to the pump and submerged into the well / tank, These type of pump sit in the bottom of a septic tank from where the fluid needs to be drained. These pumps are capable of being submerged and will likely have to deal with some fluids at all times. In order to empty as much of the liquid and solids as possible out of the basin, the intake of the pump is located as close to the floor of tank as possible.
Application
These pumps are used for water circulation, gardening, rockery, handling sewage, waste water, flood or rain water, liquid containing small solid particles, fibrous material, pulp, cellulose and industrial effluents. These are also used in municipal and industrial waste water transport, sewage treatment plants, paper & board mills, chemical & sugar industry etc.
